While we're on the subject of War Machine, exactly how much does his armor cost?

I just noticed that Tony seems to give the best "In case I'm dead" gifts, especially to Rhodey. First War Machine, now a secret satellite. And of course, it's all hand made, so it has just than much more love in it. Remember this for Mother's Day, kids.

do you think the armor(s) really cost upwards of a billion dollars? there's another comment in another comic about it costing three billion. That seems... a little high. But hey. He's Tony Fing Stark.
